Company History
Clearview was founded in 2012 by David Coffey, and is headquartered in Dublin, Ireland. During this time Clearview has evolved into a recognised leader in the field of procurement services providing leading edge procurement transformation, upskilling, sourcing, and managed procurement services. We are an innovator and, as an Enterprise Ireland client, we have developed our own cloud-based procurement and supplier relationship management technology.
We have built our credentials over the last several years supporting clients across an array of industries, including regional and global leaders. This is delivered simply by listening to our clients and with an enduring focus on quality, practicality and innovation.
Our clients have goals, and they have challenges. They want to grow, scale, lead, compete, diversify, and in some cases just to survive. So much that organisations do these days is enabled through the products and services of their suppliers. Aligning procurement and supply chain strategies with the corporate strategy doesn’t just make sense, it is imperative. If done properly, Procurement and our Suppliers serve up a powerful cocktail, delivering what we term ProcurementAdvantage.
Procurement Framework

As they set their strategic priorities and objectives it all becomes very real in terms of their annual and multi-year plans. It is these priorities that give Clearview early sight of what Procurement needs to deliver and the people and infrastructure that need to be in place to support it.
Procurement should not just there to ensure compliance or to get three quotes. No, it can and should be there to deliver lasting advantage to the organisation – market advantage, delivered through procurement.
ProcurementAdvantage!
The waves of change in every industry will impact organisations significantly and, with growing dependency on suppliers, those who are best positioned from a strategic procurement perspective are poised to win out.
Value Contribution Curve
Best-in-class Procurement demands that the organisation assess current capabilities and embark on a roadmap to transform procurement, to implement the vision and to support the overall corporate strategy. At Clearview, we guide our clients through this process

CoillteOur procurement function needed transformational change to get us ready to support the broader business plans and weather very turbulent times. Clearview served as an excellent partner on that journey, helping to transform and enable our Procurement Function to operate at a strategic level. Not only did they assess capabilities against best practice, they helped to set the vision for Procurement, and worked with us hand-in-glove to roll out category management and SRM. They also showed real professionalism and experience, seamlessly stepping in to manage a key spend portfolio.

The history of Clearview’s collaboration with UCD goes back to the year 2015 and has continued with our 2019 Engineering Management Master class. Through the support and expertise provided by Clearview, a supply chain environmental assessment framework has been developed addressing the agri-food sector’s sustainability challenges and issues. This was all made possible with the constant support of Clearview’s director, Mr. David Coffey. David is a leader by instinct and a dedicated individual. I was particularly impressed with his specific dedication and timeliness in providing practical support throughout the project.
